Two happy winners of the "DIE PRESSE" scholarship

Since last year, the newspaper „Die Presse“ awards two scholarships in the amount of EUR 12,500 each. On the occasion of presenting the certificate to the winners on June 29, 2017, Mag. Christian Ultsch, DIE PRESSE, highlighted the unique combination of studies in the MSc ETIA and pointed out that he was quite impressed by the academic performance of the two winners so far.

Bettina Röthlin, graduate from UCL London in Mathematics and Economics stated: „I would like to thank “DIE PRESSE” for this incredible opportunity. Studying the MSc ETIA program will allow me to develop the skills necessary to successfully tackle environmental challenges in a more and more globally interlinked society. I am looking forward to widening my educational horizon during the next two years and I see it as an opportunity to shape the future.“
"It is a very special honor for me to be awarded with this scholarship. I want to thank DIE PRESSE, the Diplomatic Academy and the Continuing Education Center of TU Wien for this great opportunity. I am very much looking forward to attending the MSc ETIA program over the next two years" stated Stefan Cibulka. He finished his LL.B. in Business Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and has recently graduated as LL.M in the same field.

This MSc Program was installed in 2007 as a unique cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and TU Wien. Graduates of technical studies are supposed to get an overview about the political and legal frame of environmental technology, whereas lawyers, economists and graduates from other studies should get acquainted with the technical basics (focus on air, water and waste as well as energy, climate and sustainable development).

Late application for the ETIA11 Program, starting in September 2017 is still possible.
